Mechanical Engineer, 0-3 years | Valhalla, NY
OLA has an immediate need for mechanical engineers interested in a career in Consulting Engineering for commercial and institutional facilities. OLA is seeking mechanical engineers with up to three (3) years’ US consulting engineering experience for our Valhalla, NY office. We are seeking engineers with experience in the design of HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems or entry level engineering graduates looking for a career in the consulting engineering industry. Responsibilities will include field investigation, analysis, design, production of contract documents, construction administration services, and project management services. The candidate shall have the capability of working on multiple projects and must have great communications skills for relating to clients, other design professionals, contractors, vendors and his/her peers.
Qualifications
- Minimum: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
- Entry to Three years of US Consulting Engineering experience will be considered
- Familiarity with NYS and NYC codes for those with experience
- FE Preferred
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD required, knowledge of Revit a plus
- Knowledge of, or interest in learning about, plumbing and fire protection design a plus
- LEED Accreditation a plus
