Matthew Amicone, P.E.

Matt first joined OLA as a summer intern and then began full-time with the firm in 2002. An electrical engineer by discipline, his expertise includes power distribution, back-up and emergency power systems, fire alarm, lighting design, and low voltage systems, providing clients with comprehensive electrical engineering solutions. Obtaining professional licensure, becoming a LEED AP, and with consistent participation in professional seminars/workshops, Matt brings a full and current understanding of all aspects of electrical systems to every project.

Matt’s commitment to learn everything has accelerated his career and in 2017, after more than 40 years of engineering projects throughout New York City, OLA opened an office in Manhattan and tasked Matt with leading the NYC team and managing the day-to-day operations.
