Wayne Swenson, P.E.
Associate
Wayne is an Associate in OLA’s NYC Office Energy & Commissioning Group. He leads energy audits, commissioning, and facility assessments, drawing on expertise in automation and controls, HVAC systems, and lighting and lighting controls. A licensed Professional Engineer and certified Building Commissioning Professional and Certified Energy Manager, Wayne helps clients evaluate system options, complete ASHRAE energy audits, and meet Local Law 87 requirements while planning long-term decarbonization and capital strategies in support of Local Law 97.
His project experience includes work for commercial, higher education, K–12, multifamily, and institutional clients. Wayne also contributes to the profession through service with ASHRAE’s New York City Chapter and Urban Green Council committees and as a speaker for the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association.
