Construction begins at 62 Main Street in Tarrytown—where local developer Wilder Balter Partners, Inc. is transforming the historic YMCA building into a 109-unit affordable, multifamily rental community for seniors, all while preserving the original 1911 façade. The new development is designed to meet LEED for Homes Gold certification—energy-efficiency measures will include geothermal heating and cooling systems and rooftop solar panels that will generate power to supplement the building’s electrical supply. OLA is pleased to be providing MEP/FP engineering services on the project. Construction is slated to be complete in 2023.
