Join us in congratulating NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital as they celebrate the recent launch of their interventional cardiology program plus the opening of their new cardiac catheterization laboratory. OLA Consulting Engineers was part of the design team for the $13 million, 8,500 sq. ft. cardiology suite, which was created to provide the full range of cardiovascular services to the Hudson Valley and upper Westchester region.
NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital’s interventional cardiology program is equipped with the most up-to-date, state-of-the-art equipment and, according to their website, will be open for emergent cases 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and will have a structured schedule for diagnostic and non-emergent procedures. “NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital and NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Hudson Valley cardiologists have been caring for our community’s hearts for decades,” said Stacey Petrower, president of NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital. “We pride ourselves on serving our community, and are pleased to now be providing emergent life-saving intervention, in addition to diagnostic and preventive medical procedures, close to home.”
ENGINEERING FOR NEW-YORK PRESBYTERIAN HUDSON VALLEY HOSPITAL
For the cardiology suite/catheterization laboratory project, OLA worked closely with the architect, Jeffrey Berman Architect, to integrate the design of the heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning systems, the fire protection system, and the plumbing systems, electrical, and fire alarm systems into the 3rd floor space.
