Through the NYSERDA FlexTech Program, OLA conducted an energy audit for the hospital and assisted living facility campus consisting of 18 buildings. Many of the buildings are interconnected and are served by a central utility plant. A major focus of the study was the replacement of the central utility plant’s aging equipment. An analysis was performed of combined heat and power as a possible central plant replacement option.
