Collaborating with KG+D Architects, OLA provided MEP engineering for the transformation of an underused gymnasium and auto shop into an innovative learning commons and design lab. The learning commons includes an auxiliary cafeteria, satellite library, technology lab, and collaborative group workspaces, and the design lab focuses on creating a flexible multi-use space for students. The project received an AIA Westchester + Hudson Valley Honor Award and was recognized at their 2019 Design Awards Ceremony held at Le Chateau Restaurant in South Salem, NY.
