ResilienCity Park Featured in Dezeen

ResilienCity Park in Hoboken was recently highlighted in Dezeen, showcasing the completed six-acre public space and its transformation along the Hudson River. The feature offers a closer look at how the park is redefining resilience and public use along one of the region’s most vulnerable waterfronts.

Once an industrial site, the area has been reimagined as a community park designed to support Hoboken’s long-term approach to water management and climate readiness. The project integrates green infrastructure, recreational amenities, and flood mitigation strategies that help protect the city while creating an accessible public destination.

ResilienCity Park plays a significant role in Hoboken’s broader resilience planning. Its systems work together to manage stormwater, reduce flood risk, and create a landscape that adapts to changing conditions. At the same time, the park offers open space, riverfront access, and new opportunities for recreation.

OLA provided mechanical and electrical engineering services for the project, supporting Engineering & Land Planning Associates and nARCHITECTS throughout the design and coordination process.
