New Eldred Preserve is a unique hospitality offering in the Catskills that, upon completion, will weave together the best of three legacy brands—The Eldred Preserve, The Bradstan Country Hotel, and The Old Homestead Restaurant. The Eldred Preserve, founded in 1967, was once known as Sullivan County’s premier fishing resort. The 3,000-acre property will be transformed into an entertainment hub for the local community.

Two-phased nursing facility renovation and addition project. Phase I included infrastructure work in the utility plant, including the installation of a 400 ton electric chiller and a boiler  replacement. Phase II will include complete renovations to the existing 8-story, 160,000SF building as well as the addition of 110,000SF.

OLA is the energy consultant for New Haven Public Schools and authored portions of the New Haven Public Schools High Performance Design Guidelines. As part of the guidelines, energy modeling of the schools utilizing DOE2 energy analysis software was required to determine energy use savings and energy cost savings, which OLA performs for over 20 schools.

As part of the contract, OLA is able to perform energy audits, energy modeling, review of energy models by other consultants, green design consulting and commissioning services. For instance, we performed an ASHRAE Level 1 Energy Audit for 23 NYC school buildings to assess each building’s energy usage and identify possible energy conservation measures.

Located within a Landmark District, the South Street project includes the renovation of several adjoining buildings plus the addition of approximately 11,000SF, bringing the total size to approximately 33,000SF. OLA is serving as the MEP and fire protection design engineer, and is tasked with designing complete new services and systems for the mixed-use building, which will consist of retail space and residential units.
